Deposits
We make appointments with the expectation that you will attend at the agreed date & time to have your vehicle remapped. If you change your mind or work/other commitments prevent you from attending, we ask you give as much notice as possible so that we can reallocate your appointment slot to another customer. When booking your appointment, we will ask for a deposit, payment of which is your confirmation of your commitment to attend your appointments
Cancellation
If you are unable to attend your appointment for any reason then you should tell us as soon as possible and no later than 5 working days. Providing you give notice of postponement/amendment no later than these deadlines, your deposit can be allocated to another date or vehicle
Non-Attendance (including late cancellation)
If you do not attend your appointment, or cancel later than the deadlines shown above, we reserve the right to retain your deposit.
Disclaimer
I confirm that my vehicle has been maintained in accordance with the manufacturers recommendation including relevant cambelt changes / timing chain maintenance and that the vehicle is in FULL and TOTAL road worthy condition.
All engine remaps are tested to the highest standards and are very reliable. However engine parts that are subject to wear may be prone to failure after tuning. Common failures are clutch, dpf, turbo, coil packs, EGR valve and MAF sensor. These are all serviceable items that would usually require replacement as part of good maintenance. JC Tuning do not accept liability for any mechanical part failure before, whilst and after performance tuning and we do not offer any type of warranty for your modified vehicle.
Carrying out a remap on any car without a thorough health check first is at your own risk.
No warranty is given or implied to any components on your vehicle before or after the mapping process apart from the ECU.
We expect that vehicles are in good working mechanical order without error codes stored in the ECU that will affect the results of the remap. If we find such problems we will advise that the problem is fixed before the remap. (Free diagnostics check carried out before remap).
